Just 1.7 miles south of the Lodge lays what many consider to be the Crown Jewel of Northeastern Oregon: Wallowa Lake.
The State just recently completed a walking/bicycling path so you can now safely walk from Joseph to the county park for whatever recreational endeavor you desire.
